What we do -
We publish photography & research information on compact disks (CDs) organized by family name & geographic place. We focus on families who settled or chose to visit northern New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont from their first settlement to the present day. We attempt to display original materials, letters, diaries, and collected research in context of neighborhoods and communities. We hope to share data relative to professions, such as the railroad, mill workers, logging interests, veterans, as well as tourist families who visited the region over many generations.
We publish family CDs or DvDs (Call them a CD stack when you acquire more than three family CDs.). We price each project according to the complexity and content being offered. [ Current selections ]
Our initial CD projects (The family record for more than 100 related families of our Nelson, Chamberlin, Elder, and Jones ancestry and related surnames) are available in several formats and are priced on a content basis as follows: -
$15.00 US (any single family). New CDs, samples, or multiple copies, will cost at least $15.00 each. An upgrade CD for any previously purchased product can be requested at any time, and we will inform you if an update is available or when it may be expected.
$35.00 US Custom projects may include multiple related lines, locations, sources, and topics. Specific surname projects will normally focus on at least one main family and any related resources generated from our previous projects. We try to offer unique materials such as scrapbook items, diary, or visual history when such items are available. We offer CDs from materials on hand, but can also add any personal items you may provide to share in your personalized edition. Please inquire about the available choices by family name, photographer or topic. Negative responses do not incur an expense.
$60.00 + US (request a quote) Special research for a few of our most complex CD projects, normally represents very unique information or comprehensive accumulations with up to 1000 pages of individually scanned pages and photographic images. Titles matching such a category will be identified. Each of these projects will also have a sample version at nominal cost to help you to evaluate need.
Contact us first by email or mail. Identify a product best suited for you. Please pre-pay by check, money order or PayPal to FamilyStacks@aol.com to initiate shipping. Include any required postage/ shipping fees with each order. Unless otherwise specified, we normally use the priority US mail rate (approximately $4.95 shipping) in the US. If you prefer another mailing preference or service, calculate the postal rates to your zip or postal code from US ZIPs 03785 / 03740 / 05033 to determine if such a service is available and the appropriate shipping fee.
New research. We accept CD projects for a minimum fee of $15.00 US based on time limited objectives and available materials. The cost and duration of additional custom research should be determined prior to initiating any CD project.
