    ROTARY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

    The Woodsville/Wells River Club held its 41st Annual Basketball Tournament the last two weekends in January 2008. It was a great success, thanks to the players, parents and families, officials and sponsors. A photo journal of the tournamet remains available for you to visit on our new web site. You can still order prints of your favorite athele and more!

    U. S. POSTAL SERVICE AWARD

    The Woodsville/Wells River Club was honored by the U. S. Postal Service on Tuesday, December 11th, 2007. The presentation was made by Lois Boemig, postmaster at Wells River, VT and Chris Demers postmaster at Woodsville, NH. The award sought to recognize our Club's service to many local and international communities over the years. The award will be made availaible to the public for viewing at the Happy Hour.

    A recent speaker welcomed by our club. Whether it's about getting torpedoed, training elephants, hatching emus, setting up trade with China, or chasing trains in Mongolia, our programs will definitely get your attention. Join us and discover our local community of service!
